Global Philanthropic is delighted to announce the strengthening of its European team with a series of new appointments this autumn.

Matthew Moss joins Global Philanthropic as an Associate alongside his role as Director of External Relations and Development at Homerton. As head of the Vice-Chancellor’s Office at Cambridge from 2004-14, Matthew wrote over 400 speeches for vice-chancellors and chancellors of the university, also building its case for the £1 billion 800th anniversary campaign.

The European team is further enhanced with the appointment of two new Co-Vice-Presidents from within the existing team of Senior Consultants. Cassy Martell and Ruth Ellul now join the firm’s executive team. Cassy brings a deep knowledge of the cultural sector (before joining Global Philanthropic she was at the Royal Academy of Arts) and Ruth has more than ten years’ experience in fundraising at the universities of Cambridge and Manchester, and with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Harriet Jones was instrumental in her previous role as project coordinator organising Global Philanthropic’s thought-leadership forum, Talking Philanthropy. She worked on developing the event concept, content and was the lead adminstrator involved in the operational execution and success of Talking Philanthropy 2021. We are pleased to announce she has been promoted to the role of Junior Consultant and Project Coordinor.
